English Habitat is a private platform, and its content and features are accessible only to registered members. As part of the signup or registration process, prospective members disclose personal information and information related to their background as learners or teachers of English.

Data related to your usage of the platform is also collected, through the use of cookies (see below).

English Habitat does not sell or share any personal data with anyone. English Habitat does not and will not try to monetize your personal information. English Habitat does not “mine” or “harvest” information about you.

English Habitat may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, in order to protect our own rights or property, or to protect the safety of users of the platform or members of the public.

As part of the sign-up process, English Habitat collects your email address. This is used to send emails to you periodically.
